Serbian tennis player Novak Djokovic wins the 100th trophy of his career


Serbian Novak Djokovic won the Association of Tennis Professionals (ATP) tournament in Geneva and became the third tennis player in the Open era to win 100 trophies. In the final, he beat Poland's Hubert Hurkacz. The game took place on May 24 and ended with a score 5:7, 7:6 (7:2), 7:6 (7:2).
Thanks to the victory, Djokovic took the trophy, which became the 100th in his career. The record for the number of trophies was set by American Jimmy Connors (109), followed by Swiss Roger Federer (103).
The 37-year-old athlete from Serbia is ranked sixth in the world rankings. He has 24 Grand Slam tournament wins to his credit.
On May 21, it was reported that Russian tennis player Andrey Rublev reached the quarterfinals of the ATP tournament in Hamburg. He managed to defeat German athlete Justin Engel in the second round match of the competition. The score of the game was 6:3, 7:5.
