The United States produces hypersonic missiles in large quantities. This was announced on May 24 by US President Donald Trump during a ceremony at the Military Academy at West Point.

"We are their (missiles. — Ed.) developed. And now we produce them in large quantities," the American leader noted, broadcasting his speech on the White House YouTube channel.

He also added that during the time when the country was ruled by Barack Obama, the drawings of American missiles were allegedly stolen.

On May 20, Trump announced the administration's plans to allocate about $175 billion for the Golden Dome missile defense system. According to the head of state, the development will take a little less than three years. He said that the missile defense system would become an "almost perfect" protection system.
