In the Belgorod region, two employees of the Russian Ministry of Emergency Situations were injured during the elimination of fire after an attack by a drone (UAV) in the Borisovsky district. The agency informed about this on May 24.

It is specified that rescuers left in the afternoon to eliminate the ignition of dry grass due to the impact of the UAV. A second attack was carried out while extinguishing the fire. Employees of the Russian Ministry of Emergency Situations prevented the spread of the fire towards the residential sector.

Earlier, on May 2, it was reported that eight emergency workers were injured in Gorlovka in the Donetsk People's Republic (DPR) as a result of an attack by the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU) aimed at firefighters while extinguishing a fire.
