Three people were injured as a result of the Ukrainian Armed Forces shelling a village in the Kursk region.

As a result of the shelling of the village of Pushkarozhadinsky in the Kursk region by the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU), three people were injured. This was announced on May 24 by the acting governor of the region, Alexander Khinshtein.

"Two women and one man were injured. All have shrapnel wounds — arms, legs, backs," he wrote on his Telegram channel.

An ambulance team is taking the injured to the regional hospital, where they will receive all necessary medical care, Khinstein added.

The acting governor of the Kursk region also urged residents not to return to the border regions until it is completely safe there.

Earlier, on May 22, Khinstein reported that the Ukrainian Armed Forces had launched a massive strike on Lgov in the Kursk region. According to the latest data, 16 people were injured in the attack. A criminal case on the terrorist attack was opened on the fact of the shelling of the city.
