Moscow football Club (FC) Torpedo returned to the Russian Premier League (RPL) following a match with KAMAZ from Naberezhnye Chelny in the final round of the First League. The game took place on May 24 and ended with a score of 1:1.

Alexander Yushin scored a goal for Torpedo (11th minute), Artyom Sukhanov scored for KAMAZ (57th). In the 51st minute, KAMAZ midfielder Ilya Zhigulev was sent off due to a second yellow card.

As a result, Torpedo scored 65 points and took the final second place, which ensured entry into the Russian Premier League (RPL). The Kaliningrad Baltika team became the early winner of the First League.

On May 23, it was reported that FC Krylia Sovetov from Samara received a license to participate in the 2025/26 RPL season.
