A school bus caught fire in the Moscow region

A school bus caught fire in Kolomna, Moscow region. This was announced on May 24 by the Main Directorate (GU) of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia for the Moscow region in its Telegram channel.
"According to preliminary data, there are no casualties as a result of the incident," the agency said.
It is specified that the incident occurred at about 10:34 a.m. in the village of Poluryadinki, not far from one of the houses located on Ozerskaya Street. First there was smoke, and then the minibus caught fire.
As Irina Makarova, the former director of the educational institution, told Izvestia, a possible cause of the incident could be a technical problem.
"I know that the bus was parked, the driver was in the shade. The children were boarding, and at that time the transport caught fire. Thank God there was no one there. The buses are old. <...> It's probably just a technical problem," she said.
Makarova stressed that the school bus was old, so it could have ignited due to a technical problem.
