The Russian Armed Forces liberated the localities of Loknya, Stupochki and Otradnoye.

The Russian Armed Forces have liberated the localities of Loknya in the Sumy region, Stupochki and Otradnoye in the Donetsk People's Republic (DPR). This was announced on May 24 by the Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation.

They clarified that the settlements were taken under control by the Russian army due to the actions of units of the North, South and East groups of troops.

"A separate center of special operations forces, the aviation center of the SBU (Security Service of Ukraine. — Ed.), ammunition depots, as well as points of temporary deployment of units of the Armed Forces of Ukraine (Armed Forces of Ukraine. — Ed.) and foreign mercenaries in 153 districts," the department's summary says.

It is specified that the strikes were carried out by operational and tactical aircraft, unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs), missile forces and artillery of the Russian troops.

According to the Ministry of Defense, a total of 663 aircraft, 283 helicopters, 59.1 thousand UAVs, 607 anti-aircraft missile systems, 23.5 thousand tanks and other armored fighting vehicles have been destroyed since the beginning of the special military operation.

On May 22, the Russian Armed Forces liberated Novaya Poltavka in the DPR. The Russian army also attacked an aircraft repair shop, a Ukrainian defense industry enterprise and infrastructure facilities at a military airfield.
