Mass poisoning of children in a sanatorium occurred in the Perm Region

A mass poisoning occurred in the children's sanatorium "Eaglet" in the Perm region of the Perm Region. This was reported by a source of Izvestia.

"On May 24, 35 children were diagnosed with an acute intestinal infection, and they all received outpatient care," the source said.

A complex of anti-epidemic and preventive measures is carried out in the sanatorium.

On May 20, the Ministry of Health of the Moscow Region reported that 17 people, including seven children, sought medical help in Yegoryevsk, Moscow region, after eating shawarma. It was clarified that their condition is assessed as moderate severity. The regional prosecutor's office reported that a criminal case had been opened in connection with the mass appeal of local residents with signs of poisoning.
