Nine people injured in a minibus accident in the Moscow region are in hospitals. This was announced on May 24 by Alexey Kuznetsov, Assistant Minister of Health of the Russian Federation.
"Nine victims of a minibus accident in the Moscow region, two of them children, are being treated in hospitals in the Moscow region, Moscow and federal medical centers of the Russian Ministry of Health," RIA Novosti quoted him as saying.
It is specified that the doctors assess the condition of one of the victims as serious, eight patients are in moderate condition.
Kuznetsov noted that the victims receive all necessary medical care, treatment is coordinated by the Federal Center for Disaster Medicine of the Ministry of Health of Russia.
Telemedicine consultations with specialists from federal medical centers have also been organized, the assistant minister added.
The accident on the 65th km of the federal highway M-12 in the Moscow region became known on the evening of May 23. As a result of the accident, two people were killed, including a child, and nine others were injured. Two children injured in the accident were hospitalized in the NDHiT Research Institute, Dr. Roshal's Clinic, in a moderate condition.
