A minibus driver accused of an accident was detained in the Moscow region.


The driver of a minibus involved in an accident on the M-12 highway in the Moscow region was detained. This was reported on May 24 in the Department of the Investigative Committee of the Moscow region.
According to the agency, the driver was detained under Articles 91-92 of the Criminal Procedure Code of the Russian Federation on suspicion of committing a crime. He is charged under Part 5 of Article 264 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation "Violation of traffic rules and operation of vehicles."
It is specified that the driver of the Mercedes-Benz Sprinter 2 minibus, moving along his lane of the M12 highway within the Bogorodsky urban district of the Moscow region, collided with a Lada Largus car, and then with an Audi car. Eight passengers of the minibus who were injured during the accident were taken to the hospital.
An inspection is being carried out and the circumstances of the incident are being established.
The accident on the 65th km of the federal highway M-12 in the Moscow region became known on the evening of May 23. As a result of the accident, two people were killed, including a child, and nine others were injured. Two children injured in the accident were hospitalized in the NDHiT Research Institute, Dr. Roshal's Clinic, in a moderate condition.
