The Ukrainian Armed Forces' strike on Lgov was carried out using the HIMARS system

The strikes of the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU) on Lgov, as a result of which 16 people were injured, were carried out using the HIMARS multiple rocket launcher system. This is reported by the main directorate of the Investigative Committee of Russia in the Telegram channel.

It is specified that among the victims there are two children aged 13 and 16. In addition, residential buildings and several civilian vehicles were damaged.

"After examining the scene and finding fragments of the projectile, military investigators concluded that the HIMARS multiple rocket launcher system was used for the attack," said Svetlana Petrenko, an official representative of the Investigative Committee of Russia.

The ministry noted that the Ukrainian military personnel involved in the crime are currently being identified.

A massive attack by the Ukrainian Armed Forces on Lgov became known on the evening of May 22. Initially, 12 victims were reported, including two minors. Later, the number of victims of the strike increased to 16 people. In addition, 64 private houses and 28 apartments were damaged due to the massive missile strike.
