In Vladikavkaz, a one-and-a-half-year-old girl survived after falling from the 12th floor of an apartment building. This was reported by the Investigative Department (SU IC) of the Russian Federation for the Republic of North Ossetia (RSO) – Alania.

"A procedural check is being conducted on the fact that a minor child fell from the window of the twelfth floor of one of the apartment buildings in Vladikavkaz," the agency's Telegram channel said in a statement on May 23.

According to preliminary information, the girl climbed onto the windowsill, then leaned on the mosquito net and fell out of the window of the 12th floor. As a result, she was hospitalized with injuries.

Currently, investigators are establishing all the circumstances of the incident.

The day before, it became known that in the city of Biysk, Altai Territory, a five-year-old girl fell from a fifth-floor balcony, left unattended by adults, the child survived. It was noted that a neighbor noticed a child falling from the balcony — he did not have time to catch the girl and called an ambulance.
