Mozambique reports investigation into attack on Russian ship Atlantis

The Mozambican authorities are investigating the attack on the Russian scientific research vessel Atlantis, which took place on May 10. This was announced on May 23 by government spokesman Inocencio Impissa.

"At the moment, the investigation is ongoing, and as soon as concrete results appear, we will confirm what really happened," the Club of Mozambique portal quotes the press secretary as saying.

According to him, this investigation is "committed to ensuring the safety" of Mozambique in its waters. He added that the security and defense forces are working to identify the facts of the attack.
