The Kornet ATGM crew destroyed the Ukrainian Armed Forces stronghold in the area of the SVO

The calculation of the Kornet anti-tank missile system (ATGM) of the South group of forces destroyed a stronghold of the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU) in the Alexandro-Kalinovsky area of the special military operation (SVO). This was announced on May 24 by the Russian Defense Ministry.

The ministry noted that the enemy's stronghold was discovered by the operators of a reconnaissance unmanned aerial vehicle. They transmitted the coordinates to the gunners of the Southern Group of Forces, who defeated the Ukrainian militants with two precise hits.

It is specified that there were up to nine personnel at the AFU checkpoint.

Hundreds of changes have been made to the design of the products since the beginning of the special operation.

On May 23, the Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation reported that soldiers of the assault unit of the 5th Combined Arms Army of the Vostok group of forces conducted a successful operation to capture a well-fortified AFU stronghold in the Yuzhnodonets direction near the village of Volnoye Pole.
