Those who took part in the 2016 robbery of blogger and TV star Kim Kardashian in Paris have been sentenced. This was announced on May 23 by the BFMTV channel.

The verdict was handed down to the organizer of the robbery, 69-year-old Aomaru Ait Kedash. He was on trial as the main defendant.

"The man was sentenced to eight years in prison, three of which he had to serve [in prison]," the publication said.

However, he will not go to prison, as the court decided to include the punishment in the previous five-year sentence. It is noted that of the 10 accused of organizing the robbery, only two admitted guilt and expressed regret over the incident.

Kim Kardashian announced on May 13 that she forgives her robber, who wrote her a letter of apology. However, she noted that this event caused her an indelible trauma, as she feared for her life on the day of the incident. The trial in the case began at the end of April 2025.

In October 2016, a group of robbers attacked Kardashian in her private apartment in Paris. Threatening with a pistol, the masked intruders took away a jewelry box, a diamond ring and mobile phones worth almost €10 million.
