Two teenagers died in an accident involving a car and a moped in Mari El. This was reported on May 24 in the press service of the State Traffic Inspectorate for the region in the Telegram channel.

"A VAZ-2115 car and a moped collided. <...> As a result of the accident, the driver and his minor passenger were killed on the spot," said police captain Svetlana Zhuravleva.

It is specified that the collision occurred as a result of violation of the safe distance by the driver of the car. The moped was driven by a 16-year-old driver, along with a 17-year-old passenger. Specialists are working at the scene.
