Ronaldo sells controlling stake in Valladolid football club for €50 million


Former Brazilian national football team player, two-time world Cup champion Ronaldo Luis Nazario de Lima has sold a controlling stake in the Spanish football club Valladolid to an American investment group for €50 million. This was announced on the FC website on May 23.
"Ronaldo Luis Nazario de Lima, Chairman of the Board of Directors and majority shareholder of Real Valladolid Football Club, announces the signing of an agreement to transfer a controlling stake in the club to a North American investment group," the statement said.

The father of American billionaire Elon Musk, Errol Musk, announced on January 7 that his son plans to acquire the English football club Liverpool.
