The An-2 aircraft rolled off the runway during landing in the Tomsk region


The Federal Air Transport Agency will investigate the incident with the An-2 aircraft, which rolled out onto the side lane in the Tomsk region during landing. This was announced on May 23 by the representative of the Federal Air Transport Agency Artem Korenyako.
"The Commission of the West Siberian Technical Technical University of the Federal Air Transport Agency is investigating a serious aviation incident that occurred today with the An-2 aircraft (registration number RA-84747) of Agat Airlines (air operator's certificate for aviation operations)," the message on his Telegram channel says.
Korenyako clarified that during the landing at the Kolpashevo site in the Tomsk region, the An-2 aircraft, which was performing a forest patrol flight, rolled out onto the side lane. There were three people on board at the time of the incident, none of them were injured.
The Federal Air Transport Agency stressed that the investigation will be conducted in accordance with the rules for investigating aviation accidents and incidents involving civil aircraft in the Russian Federation. During it, the causes of the accident will be determined and measures will be taken to prevent them in the future.
On May 17, the Western Interregional Investigative Department for Transport of the Investigative Committee of the Russian Federation reported that investigators were establishing the circumstances under which the Robinson R66 helicopter made a hard landing in the Odintsovo district of the Moscow region. It was clarified that the pilot was not injured in the incident, but the aircraft suffered mechanical damage.
