A woman and a child were killed in a three-car accident in Noginsk, Moscow region, the Main Investigative Department (GSU) of the Investigative Committee (IC) for the region reported on Friday, May 23.

According to the regional Department of the Ministry of Internal Affairs, 10 people were injured in the accident.

The exact number of victims is currently being clarified, the circumstances of the incident are being established, the UK added.

A criminal case has been opened under Article 238 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation on the provision of services that do not meet safety requirements and caused injury to passengers, as well as the death of a woman and a child in an accident.
