Americans and Russians no longer see each other as enemies. This was announced on May 23 by Kirill Dmitriev, Special Representative of the President of the Russian Federation for Investment and Economic cooperation with foreign countries, head of the Russian Direct Investment Fund (RDIF).

According to him, 76% of Russians previously viewed the United States as an enemy. Now this number has decreased to 27%. In the United States, the number of people who consider Russia to be a hostile state has also dropped, from 70% to 50%.

"Russians and Americans hope for dialogue and cooperation," Dmitriev wrote on the social network X (ex. Twitter).

Earlier, on April 3, Dmitriev pointed out the importance of dialogue between Russia and the United States. According to him, this issue is about ensuring a safe world for all.
