Air defense forces destroyed two Ukrainian drones over Belgorod region

Russian air defense systems destroyed two unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs) The Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU) over the Belgorod region. This was announced by the Russian Defense Ministry on May 23.

"At about 19:30 Moscow time, two Ukrainian unmanned aerial vehicles were destroyed by air defense systems on duty...> over the territory of the Belgorod region," follows from the publication in the Telegram channel.

It is specified that the downed drones were aircraft-type.

The new radar has compact dimensions and high mobility.

Earlier in the day, the agency reported that 112 Ukrainian UAVs had been intercepted and destroyed overnight by the air defense. It was clarified that the drones were shot down over the territory of the Moscow region, the Republic of Crimea, Tula, Kursk, Orel, Bryansk, Belgorod, Ivanovo, Vladimir, Voronezh, Lipetsk regions and Ryazan.
