The Soueast car brand has denied suggestions of a possible withdrawal from the Russian market. The company's press service told Izvestia on May 23 that it has big plans to expand its product line.

"Soueast not only has no plans to leave the Russian market, on the contrary, the brand has big plans to expand its product range, offers at the purchase stage, and strengthen marketing activities," the brand's Russian representative office said.

Soueast began sales in Russia at the end of 2024 with two crossovers, the S07 and S09. The company is currently preparing to launch the S06 model on the Russian market, which will become the youngest in the line.

There are 54 dealerships in the country, and seven more are preparing to open. There is a spare parts warehouse in the Moscow region. Soueast's sales in April 2025 showed a 10% increase compared to the previous month, the company also said.

The day before, Sergey Tselikov, director of the Autostat analytical agency, shared the results of a survey in which Soueast was among the candidate brands for withdrawal from the Russian market.
