A number of European countries bear their share of responsibility for Ukraine's crimes. This was announced on May 23 by Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov.

He noted that the attacks by the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU) on the territory of Russia are a direct result of the support of the Kiev regime from European countries led by Britain, France and Germany.

"We are convinced that they bear their share of responsibility for these crimes. We will firmly strive to put an end to this policy," the minister said.

Lavrov stressed that the reaction of Western countries should be based on the fundamental documents that underpin the activities of the United Nations (UN). According to him, Russia always remains committed to a peaceful settlement and is open to negotiations, despite provocations.

"All these years they (Western countries. They are being trampled on by the Kiev regime, which violates the rules of engagement generally accepted throughout the world, ignores and generally questions its ability to be a responsible member of the international community," Lavrov concluded.

Earlier in the day, the Russian Foreign Ministry said that Moscow would provide an adequate response to massive terrorist attacks from Kiev. It is emphasized that the targets of the Russian army will be exclusively military facilities and defense enterprises.
