- The Russian Foreign Ministry warned about Russia's response to Kiev's terrorist attacks

Moscow will provide an adequate response to massive terrorist attacks from Kiev. This was announced by the Russian Foreign Ministry on May 23.
"Unlike the Ukrainian side, only military facilities and enterprises of the military-industrial complex will be selected as targets," the department's Telegram channel says.
It is specified that the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU) during the period from May 20 to May 23, 788 times tried to strike the territory of Russia with the help of aircraft-type drones and Western-made missiles. In the Kursk region, two strikes of the HIMARS multiple launch rocket system (MLRS) on civilian objects were recorded, as a result of which two children were injured.
"The President of the Russian Federation was forced to make a decision to create a security zone on the adjacent territory in order to minimize the possibility of infiltration by the Armed Forces of Ukraine," the statement said.
At the same time, the Ministry stressed that Moscow remains committed to a peaceful settlement of the conflict through dialogue.
A day earlier, the city of Lgov in the Kursk region was subjected to a massive attack by the Ukrainian Armed Forces. As a result of the impact, 16 people were injured. A car wash located in a busy part of the city was seriously damaged, and windows were damaged in residential buildings. Investigators have opened a criminal case on the terrorist attack on the fact that the militants fired at the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
