"I am very glad that I returned home. I am overwhelmed with feelings inside, very pleasant warm feelings that I will see my family, relatives, children, loved ones. Everything will be fine. Glory to Russia!" said one of the soldiers who returned from captivity.

The Defense Ministry noted that Russian military personnel and civilians are on the territory of Belarus, where they are receiving the necessary psychological and medical assistance.

The Russian Federation and Ukraine agreed on a large-scale exchange of prisoners of war according to the "1000 for 1000" formula at talks in Istanbul on May 16.

During the three days of the largest transfer of prisoners, 1,000 people returned to Russia.

Today it became known that 270 Russian servicemen and 120 civilians were returned from the territory controlled by the Kiev regime as part of the Russian-Ukrainian agreements.
