In Berlin, a teenager attacked a classmate at school with a knife


In one of Berlin's schools in the Spandau area, a 13-year-old teenager attacked his classmate with a knife during an argument in the gym locker room, the German newspaper Bild reported on May 23.
The incident occurred on the afternoon of May 22nd between sixth grade students. The attacked teenager immediately ran away from school. To search for him, the police raised a helicopter and blocked all the nearby streets, and service dogs were also involved. A few hours later, the boy was found in the subway.
"The boy was arrested at the Rathaus Spandau metro station. When the authorities approached him, he replied: "It's me." A 13-year—old teenager was taken into custody," the article says.
According to police spokesman Martin Halweg, the student will not be criminally responsible due to his age. The boy has been placed in a psychiatric hospital, the reasons for his actions have not yet been established. The injured classmate underwent surgery, and doctors assess his condition as stable.
