Direct flights will be launched between Sochi and Bratsk

Sochi Airport will open direct flights to Bratsk on June 1. Weekly flights will be operated by NordStar Airlines, the press service of the airport reports.

Earlier, residents of the city in the Irkutsk region traveled south with a transfer, writes KrasnodarMedia news agency. The planes will depart from Sochi on Sundays at 19:25, and from Bratsk on Mondays at 7:55.

The flights will be operated on Boeing 737-800 aircraft. Economy and business class tickets are available for passengers. From June 1 to June 15, the cost of one trip will be from 10,500 rubles.

Earlier, Izvestia wrote that in Russia they want to introduce mandatory fixed compensation in the amount of 25 to 100% of the ticket price for transferring to other flights in case of overbooking. The Ministry of Transport is preparing a bill on its legalization.
