More than 60 houses were damaged during the Ukrainian Armed Forces strike on the Kursk region

As a result of a massive missile strike by the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU) on the city of Lgov in the Kursk region on May 22, 64 private houses and 28 apartments were damaged. This was announced by the acting governor of the region, Alexander Khinstein, on his Telegram channel.

"In total, 64 private houses, 28 apartments, a car wash, and two shops were damaged as a result of the missile strike," he wrote on his Telegram channel.

According to the acting governor, specialists have now completed a house-to-house inspection and are taking measurements of the broken windows for the prompt installation of new double-glazed windows. He added that all necessary assistance will be provided to the residents of the city.

A massive attack by the Ukrainian Armed Forces on Lgov became known on the evening of May 22. Initially, 12 victims were reported, including two minors. Later, the number of victims of the strike increased to 16 people. A criminal case on the terrorist attack was opened upon the incident.
