Work on the modernization of buildings of 100 Moscow schools has already begun and will be completed in 2026. This was announced by Moscow Mayor Sergei Sobyanin, talking about plans for a comprehensive renovation of the social infrastructure in the Biryulyovo Zapadnoye area.

In particular, the primary school building No. 2001 in Biryulyovo Zapadny will be modernized, the mayor said.

"The guys will start the next academic year in a renovated, bright and beautiful building with landscaped grounds," Sobyanin said in his Telegram channel. He stressed that the work is being carried out within the framework of the My School program.

The mayor noted that, in general, the Biryulyovo Zapadnoye district has been dramatically improved and renovated in recent years. For example, polyclinic No. 52 will be reconstructed here. It will start working according to the new Moscow standard: with modern technology and a barrier-free environment. The opening is scheduled for the third quarter of 2025.

"Much has already been done, but there are still many tasks ahead, including the construction of a new metro line," Sobyanin concluded.
