The crew of the helicopter that crashed in the Orel region was killed

The crew of a helicopter that crashed outside the village of Naryshkino in the Orel region has died. This was reported on May 23 in the press service of the Moscow Military District.

"In the Orel region, an Mi-8 helicopter crashed during a scheduled flight. <...> The crew was killed," they said.

It is noted that the aircraft crashed in a deserted area, there is no damage on the ground. According to preliminary data, the cause of the crash is a technical malfunction.

A commission of the Russian Aerospace Forces (VKS) flew to the crash site, the press service of the Moscow Military District said.
