The FC Krylia Sovetov football Club from Samara has received a license to participate in the 2025/26 season of the Russian Premier League (RPL). This was reported on May 23 in the FC Telegram channel.

According to Dmitry Yakovlev, Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Samara club, Krylia Sovetov's stable financial position made it possible to obtain a license, which was largely achieved thanks to guarantees from the region and the involvement of Vyacheslav Fedorishchev, Governor of the Samara Region.

"The club will continue to be tasked with achieving sporting results, meeting financial targets, and developing the sports vertical," Yakovlev stressed.

On May 18, Krylia Sovetov lost to Spartak Moscow FC in the match of the 29th round of the Russian Premier League with a score of 2:0. According to the results of the meeting, Krylia Sovetov are in 10th place in the tournament table with 30 points.
