50,000 children from Russia and abroad will come to Artek for the 100th anniversary of the center

About 50 thousand children from the regions of Russia and foreign countries will come to the Artek International Children's Center for the 100th anniversary of the center. Olga Koludarova, Deputy Minister of Education of the Russian Federation, announced this on May 23.

"It is in the jubilee year that Artek will open its doors to 50,000 children from the regions of our country and abroad, and each shift will be a journey into the world of science, sports, art, and ecology," she said during a press conference at TASS.

In addition, an Artek exhibition is planned in honor of the anniversary of the children's center. On May 14, the Central Bank of Russia announced that it would issue a silver commemorative coin for the 100th anniversary of Artek. It has a three-ruble face value and will be included in the "Historical Events" series.
