Pskov joined the All-Russian campaign "To work by bike"

In Pskov, on Friday, May 23, the All-Russian campaign "To work by bike" is taking place. Such an event is held in the city twice a year, when its participants abandon cars and public transport for one day in favor of bicycles, scooters, monowheels, etc. The action is organized by the city youth center.
The work of "energy points" is organized throughout the city. There are nine such spaces in total, where residents of the city who come by bike can receive an energy bar, a branded sticker, a badge and a number for transport. At three points, volunteers help to fix the numbers on the participants' vehicles.
At the action point located near the central pharmacy in Pskov, traffic police officers remind cyclists and scooter users about the rules of safe movement, the Pskov News Feed writes.
The partners of the promotion offer their bonuses to its participants: free drinks, pizza slices and discounts on products.
In April, it was reported that scooters and electric bicycles with an engine power of more than 250 watts in continuous load mode were proposed to be equated with mopeds and banned from riding them on sidewalks. This follows from the draft protocol following a meeting in the government on the necessary regulation for personal mobility equipment (SIM).
