Russian President Vladimir Putin instructed to consider the possibility of using CTP funds to upgrade the public transport fleet in the constituent entities of the Russian Federation by September 15 this year. The order was published on the Kremlin's official website following a meeting of the Presidium of the State Council "On the development of infrastructure for life."

The Cabinet of Ministers and the Central Bank were instructed to study the possibility of insurers sending a portion of the profit received as a result of improving the mechanism for combating drivers driving vehicles without valid CTP (based on the results of the year following the year in which these measures were taken) to upgrade the fleet of public transport in the constituent entities of the Russian Federation.

It is noted that the deduction of such profits should not lead to an increase in tariffs for this type of insurance.

In addition, the document states that Putin instructed to consider the issue of granting the subjects of the Russian Federation the right to charge fees for damage caused to public roads of regional, inter-municipal and local significance by vehicles with a permitted maximum mass of over 12 tons.

Also on this day, it became known that Putin instructed the Cabinet of Ministers and the Central Bank to improve measures to combat drivers who drive vehicles without valid CTP policies by November 1 of this year.
