Russians are most often confronted with insect or animal bites on vacation in the country (41%). Allergies are in second place in popularity (12%), and colds and hypothermia are in third (10%). Such data follows from a joint study by the Scandinavian Center for Health and SBERBANK, which was reviewed by Izvestia on May 24.

5% of respondents worry about sunstrokes and overheating, while 4% worry about poisoning and cuts. Burns were indicated by 3% of respondents, bruises, dislocations and sprains — by 3%, fractures — also by 3%. At the same time, one in six respondents indicated that they do not encounter any diseases or health threats during the rest period.

Russians' first-aid kits usually include the following items: painkillers and anti-inflammatory drugs (73%), gastrointestinal products (57%), antihistamines (53%), constantly prescribed medications (50%), SPF and repellents (49%), bandages, patches, syringes and other consumables (48%), wound treatments, ointments for bruises, including anti-burn ointments and remedies (46%).

"The kit includes the necessary painkillers, remedies for the digestive tract and allergies, which helps to cope with typical problems in the country. It is important that many people take their usual medications with them, as well as sunscreens and insect repellents," said Olga Chistik, a therapist at the Scandinavian Health Center.

She added that bandages and ointments for wounds complement the first-aid kit and provide basic care for injuries. This kit is well suited for most vacation vacation situations, but it is always worth considering individual needs and consulting with a doctor.

The Russians also told what they rely on when collecting first-aid kits at their country house. The majority (44%) act based on the experience of previous trips. More than a third take with them the medicines and consumables that they use most often. A quarter try to assemble a first—aid kit so that there is a remedy for any case, 14% form a first-aid kit based on who goes to the country - the elderly or children.

Earlier, on May 16, it was reported that one in five Russians would like to put up a cottage for sale in order to buy an apartment in the capital. At the same time, one in three (33%) estimates their suburban real estate in the amount of 6 million to 10 million rubles, according to the results of a study by Level Group.
