Two communication centers for pensioners have appeared in the Stavropol Territory

Two additional Communication Centers for the older generation were opened in the Stavropol Territory. Social facilities appeared in the town of Blagodatnoye and the village of Krasnogvardeisky, the press service of the regional branch of the SFR reported on Friday, May 23.

Festive events were held on the occasion of the opening of the centers for pensioners, writes IA StavropolMedia. They were attended by local authorities and representatives of public organizations.

The institutions were equipped with recreation areas, small libraries, computers and other equipment. Classes on financial and computer literacy, sports and creative activities, as well as various events will be organized there.

Earlier, Izvestia wrote that Russia has approved a Strategy for actions in the interests of older citizens until 2030, which contains a set of directions for improving the quality of life of older citizens. One of the main vectors will be the transition to a two-stage system of indexation of insurance pensions.
