Filming of the full-length adventure family film "The Magic Lamp" has begun in St. Petersburg.

The roles in the film will be played by Pavel Derevyanko, Artem Tkachenko, Anastasia Krasovskaya, Tikhon Zhiznevsky, Ravshana Kurkova, Natalia Surkova, Mikhail Policemako, Dmitry Khrustalev and Alexander Samusev. The TV premiere will take place on the REN TV channel

The main character of this fairy tale for the whole family is a schoolboy named Sashka (Alexander Samusev), shy and naive at times. Sasha lives with his grandmother (Natalia Surkova) and entrusts his secrets to a smart speaker because he has no friends. But Sasha has a special power — faith in miracles, thanks to which he gets into the whirlpool of extraordinary events. In the company of a witty genie from a jug (Pavel Derevyanko) and Alice's revived smart speaker (Anastasia Krasovskaya), Sasha embarks on a dangerous journey halfway around the world to find his parents (Tikhon Zhiznevsky and Ravshan Kurkova), who, after a sandstorm in Uzbekistan, were trapped in a magical city by Shah Zaman (Mikhail Policeimako). Sasha and the company are waiting for the machinations of the evil sorcerer Yusuf (Artem Tkachenko), battles on magic carpets, hot air balloon rides, chases across the endless steppes, crossing the desert and meeting people who are ready to help the boy find a family again.

In addition to Russia (St. Petersburg), the film will be shot in Uzbekistan (including the ancient city of Khiva) and Kyrgyzstan.

The television premiere will take place on the REN TV channel.
