Deputies of the Crimean State Council proposed to expand the borders of Simferopol and move departmental offices from the city center. The prospects for the development of the city were discussed at a meeting of the construction committee, according to the social networks of the Republican parliament.
Proposals were also made to create a tourist walking area in historical sites and to reconstruct the building where former British Prime Minister Winston Churchill stayed.
According to the SevastopolMedia news agency, the authorities plan to improve 18 courtyards and five public territories, repair 24 roads and purchase 34 residential premises for orphaned children.
Earlier in May, it was reported that two new health centers had been opened in Crimea. 44.7 million rubles were allocated for their equipment in 2025.
