In Kharkiv, a drunk employee of the military enlistment office opened fire near a supermarket because teenagers called him a teksekashnik (a shopping mall, a territorial recruitment center, an analogue of a military enlistment office in Ukraine). This was reported on May 23 by the Ukrainian online publication "Страна.иа ".

It is noted that when leaving the store, an employee of the shopping mall heard two young men laughing and thought that he was the reason for such behavior of minors. At the same time, they did not respond to the military commissar's remark.

"Since he was in uniform, the guys called him a student, which was insulting to him. Since he was drunk and did not fully control his actions, he pulled out a pistol, first fired a shot into the air, to which the guys did not react, but only began to laugh," the newspaper quotes excerpts of the court decision.

In addition, the detained man claimed that he was shooting very well and was not going to hit anyone. It is specified that no one was injured as a result of the incident. However, because of the incident, the defendant will receive up to three years in prison.

Earlier, on May 14, in Kiev, in the Svyatoshinsky district, an unknown man opened fire in a hotel. The man was detained, there were no injuries.
