A recall of Toyota Alphard cars has been announced in Russia

Toyota Motor Company recalls 195 Toyota Alphard cars in Russia. The service campaign includes minivans sold from September 30, 2020 to March 31, 2021, and their VIN numbers are listed on the Rosstandart website.
Toyota found that in these vehicles, the hood molding can deform with temperature changes due to structural flaws in the fasteners. This can lead to cracks and loosening of the molding fasteners.
"Therefore, if the molding continues to be used in this condition, it may detach from the car and interfere with other vehicles," the report says.
Car owners will be invited to dealerships to carry out free repair work. The hood molding will be replaced on minivans.
On April 17, Gak Motor Rus announced a recall of 16.9 thousand GS8 vehicles in Russia, which were sold between July 17, 2023 and March 24, 2025.
On April 3, it was reported that 1,9 thousand Toyota Land Cruiser 300 and Lexus LX 600 cars were being recalled in Russia. The campaign is associated with the risk of an emergency due to possible engine failure in these SUVs.
