The main period of the Unified State Exam started with exams in chemistry, history and literature

The main exam period in Russia began on May 23 with exams in chemistry, history and literature. In an interview with Izvestia, the students shared their emotions.

It is noted that this year more than 700 thousand schoolchildren in all Russian regions, as well as in 55 foreign countries, are taking the state exam. The exam starts at 10:00 a.m. local time. So, in Siberia, the exam may just begin, while in the Far East it may already be over.

Students are instructed not to worry, get enough sleep, and also not to bring cheat sheets to the classroom.

"To be honest, I'm a little worried. Somehow I calmed down, I realized that this is not the most important thing. If we were preparing, we will definitely pass," said Elizaveta Uvarova, a student of the 11th grade of Petropavlovsk—Kamchatsky School No. 42.

In addition, for the first time, there will be no answer selection tasks on the exam. Such innovations have already affected the procedure itself.

"The mood seems to be good, positive. I'll pass it as I pass it. I think it won't be a big deal if something goes wrong," said Valeria Lotokha, an 11th-grade student at Yuzhno—Sakhalinsk Secondary School No. 11.

The day before, Igor Kruglinsky, deputy head of Rosobrnadzor, said that specialists were monitoring closed groups on social networks and identifying the control and measuring materials (CMM) of the Unified State Exam published there.He clarified that the agency can identify each exam participant even by a fragment of the control and measuring material.
