Ex-drummer of The Devil Wears Prada died in a plane crash in California

Daniel Williams, the former drummer of the metalcore band The Devil Wears Prada, died in a plane crash in San Diego, California. This was reported by Billboard magazine on May 23.

According to him, the crash claimed the lives of all six people on board.

"There are no words. We owe you everything. We love you forever," the band commented on Williams' death by posting a photo of the former drummer on social media.

Daniel Williams played in The Devil Wears Prada from 2005 to 2016. During this time, the band entered the top 10 of the Billboard 200 twice and topped the Top Hard Rock Albums charts with the albums With Roots Above and Branches Below and Zombie EP.

The magazine pointed out that Dave Shapiro, a music agent, pilot and co—founder of the Sound Talent Group, is among the victims. According to the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA), the plane hit a power line, which caused a large-scale fire that damaged houses and cars.

The plane crash in California occurred on May 22. The incident occurred two miles from Montgomery-Gibbs airport. It is specified that about 100 people were evacuated from the houses nearby the crash site.
