In Primorsky Krai, acute intestinal infections were confirmed in at least 12 college students. This was reported to Izvestia on May 23 by Rospotrebnadzor.

Specialists of the department, together with the Center for Hygiene and Epidemiology in Primorsky Krai, selected flushes for indicative microflora in the college cafeteria and took samples of products and disinfectants.

At the moment, the prosecutor's office is conducting an investigation into acute intestinal poisoning in students, during which an assessment will be made of compliance with sanitary and epidemiological legislation in the organization of student nutrition. According to the results of the inspection, the necessary response measures will be taken, according to the prosecutor's office of the region.

On May 20, the Ministry of Health of the Moscow Region reported that 17 people, including seven children, sought medical help in Yegoryevsk, Moscow region, after eating shawarma. It was clarified that their condition is assessed as moderate severity. The regional prosecutor's office reported that a criminal case had been opened in connection with the mass appeal of local residents with signs of poisoning.
