Russian servicemen told about Torsky's release in the DPR

Soldiers of the 67th Motorized Rifle Division of the 25th Combined Arms Army of the Zapad group of forces told about the liberation of the Torskoye settlement in the Donetsk People's Republic (DPR).

"The actions were by accumulation, along several routes. Unnoticed by the enemy, they infiltrated into the settlement, occupied a bridgehead, and then cleared the basements," said the commander of a motorized rifle regiment with the call sign Storm.

According to him, the militants of the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU) had a great advantage in the air, but the Russian military were able to suppress it using electronic warfare (EW).

In addition, Storm stated that the enemy was morally depressed and constantly demanded evacuation from his command. He added that during the liberation of the settlement, Russian servicemen managed to destroy several M113 armored personnel carriers and MaxxPro armored vehicles, as well as one T-72 tank.

The Russian military also captured one of the Ukrainian Armed Forces fighters, a native of the Lviv region.

"After the accumulation of the group in Torsky, the fighters already knew their job and acted promptly and smoothly during the day. <...> When our first flags were raised, we already realized that our main task had been completed," said the platoon commander of unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs) with the call sign Hawk.

On May 21, the Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation showed footage of the liberation of the Novoaleksandrovka settlement in the DPR in the Red Army area by soldiers of the 9th Motorized Rifle Brigade of the Center group of forces.
