Footage has emerged of the consequences of a massive strike by the Ukrainian Armed Forces on the Kursk region

As a result of a massive strike by the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU) on the city of Lgov in the Kursk region, a car wash located in a busy part of the city was seriously damaged, windows were damaged in residential buildings. Izvestia showed footage of the aftermath on May 22.

The above footage shows how tightly the car wash, which was attacked by Ukrainian militants, was hit by shell fragments. The facade and roof were badly damaged, and the entire wall of the building was stitched.

Local residents said that three explosions were heard, while the fourth seemed to sound in the distance. According to them, the windows in the houses were mostly damaged.

"It felt like everything was shaking. We ran into houses or into the hallway, into the bathroom," one of the residents told Izvestia correspondent Emil Timashev.

The staff of the main military investigation Department of the Investigative Committee of Russia conducted an inspection of the consequences of the shelling.

A massive attack by the Ukrainian Armed Forces on Lgov became known on the evening of May 22. Initially, 12 victims were reported, including two minors. Later, the number of victims of the strike increased to 16 people. It was previously established that four cars, one apartment building and two private houses were also damaged.

Investigators have opened a criminal case on a terrorist attack on the fact that the militants of the Armed Forces of Ukraine fired on Lgov.
