A car hit a 10-year-old girl on a highway near Volgograd


In the Volgograd region, a car hit a 10-year-old girl who was running across the highway in the wrong place. This was reported on May 22 in the press service of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia in the region.
"The driver, driving a Kia Rio, hit a 10-year-old girl who was running across the roadway in an unidentified location," the agency said in a Telegram channel.
According to preliminary information, the incident occurred at 15:39 on the 19th km of the Volgograd–Kamensk – Shakhtinsky– Lugansk highway. The child was taken to a medical facility.
In Zelenograd, on the same day, a woman was killed as a result of a Gazelle hit. It was clarified that the driver had hit a pedestrian while reversing along the sidewalk. The victim was hospitalized in serious condition in a medical facility, where she died from injuries sustained as a result of the accident.
