A girl was killed and four children were injured due to an attack by the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU) on a car in the Zaporizhia region. This was announced on May 22 by the governor of the region Evgeny Balitsky.

"As a result of a terrorist attack on a civilian car in the Vasilyevsky municipal district, a girl born in 1990 was killed and four children were injured.: 10, nine, eight years old and a one—year-old child," he wrote on the Telegram channel.

Balitsky clarified that the children were diagnosed with moderate injuries. They are currently being treated by doctors, and there is no threat to their lives. The governor also added that comprehensive assistance will be provided to the victims and the family of the deceased.
