Harvard University banned from accepting international students

Harvard University has lost its certification for admission of international students. This was announced on May 22 by the head of the US Department of Homeland Security, Christie Noem.
"They lost their certificate under the program of students and exchange program participants as a result of non—compliance with the law," the head of the department said in a message on the social network X (ex. Twitter).
She added that all international students who are currently studying at Harvard should transfer to other educational institutions.
According to her, this ban should serve as a signal to all American universities that intend to accept foreign students as part of exchange programs.
On May 20, the U.S. Department of Health stripped Harvard of a number of grants, totaling approximately $60 million. US President Donald Trump, in turn, called for Harvard University to be stripped of its tax-exempt status. According to him, "Harvard deserves it."
