The Investigative Committee (IC) of Russia has opened a criminal case in connection with the wounding of the head of the Belovsky district of the Kursk region, Nikolai Volobuyev, during an attack by the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU). The investigation will identify and bring to justice all the Ukrainian Armed Forces militants involved in the incident. Volobuev shared with the military investigators of the Investigative Committee of Russia the circumstances of the attack by the Kiev regime.

He said that he could not move independently, for a certain time he needed a recumbent regime. According to him, colleagues and residents of the region contacted him and wished him a speedy recovery.
