As a result of the crash of a light-engine aircraft in California, two people were killed and eight injured. This was reported on May 22 by the BBC Broadcasting Corporation, citing local authorities.

According to Assistant Fire Chief Dan Eddy, one of the injured was hospitalized, and the rest received the necessary medical care on the spot.

It is specified that about 100 people were evacuated from the houses nearby the crash site.

The Associated Press reported earlier in the day that a small Cessna 550 plane crashed into residential buildings in San Diego, California, setting cars and about 15 houses on fire. It is noted that the cause of the crash was heavy fog and lack of visibility.
